A Bengaluru-based rowdy-sheeter, Manjesh Kumar, was hacked to death outside the Hassan District Court complex in the early hours of June 8, 2026. Police said the 42-year-old was attacked between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. and was found dead at the scene. Hassan Extension Police began an investigation and formed teams to identify those responsible.
Following the investigation, the number of arrests in the case rose to 10, with five suspects reportedly surrendering to police.
