Rainfall deficiency has affected agricultural activities in parts of Hassan district, with Arasikere taluk among the areas facing serious dry-spell conditions. District Minister K.M. Shivalingegowda directed officials to ensure that farmers are covered under crop insurance and highlighted concerns over fodder availability for livestock.
